Can you access Deer Valley from Park City?
While the three resorts in Park City are all close in proximity, they are owned by separate interests and lift tickets are not reciprocal. And while part of Deer Valley and Park City Mountain are adjacent, it is illegal to duck under the rope between the two (except with a guide – see below).

Do you need a car in Deer Valley?
Do I need a car? Many guests do not find it necessary to rent a car. All Deer Valley Resort-managed lodging properties provide complimentary in-town in Cadillac vehicles transportation and on-call shuttle service for their guests.
How is parking at Deer Valley?
Deer Valley Resort offers complimentary parking at five base area parking lots along with a complimentary shuttle to Snow Park Lodge. However, please note: Limited paid parking is available mid-mountain at the Silver Lake Lodge and there is no day skier parking at Empire Canyon Lodge.
Which side of Park City is better?
Park City Mountain is ideal for riders and skiers of all levels with plenty of long, wide groomers that do wonders to enhance confidence. The resort welcomes snowboarders on its slopes so it’s a better option for shredders than nearby Deer Valley which only permits skiers.
Is Park City still open?

Is Park City and Deer Valley the same?
Although Deer Valley is technically part of Park City, its atmosphere and accommodations make it feel like it is worlds away.
Are snowboarders allowed at Deer Valley?
There is a niche in the snow sports industry for resorts that don’t allow snowboarding and Deer Valley caters to it. It attracts an older, wealthier clientele at the cost of giving up some family business. Deer Valley’s slopes are conducive to snowboarding.
Is Uber in Park City Utah?
Uber & Lyft Like most destinations, Uber and Lyft have become very convenient, available, and affordable in Park City. As locals, we typically use Uber or Lyft to get to and from the airport, which runs a nominal $40-$50(ish) dollars per direction (unless surge pricing is in effect).
Do you have to pay to park at Solitude?
Vehicles carrying one or two passengers will be charged the full $20 to park at Solitude. The charge is $10 for three passengers and $5 for four or more passengers. The resort is also offering incentives that reward visitors who carpool and make it easier for them to leave their vehicles out of the canyon.
Is parking at Alta free?
Qualifying Alta and Alta-Bird passholders are eligible for free parking reservations. Parking reservations are verified by your license plate. Qualifying Alta passholders will receive code(s) that can be used to book free parking reservations. Reservation codes may be reused once the active reservation date has passed.
