How old do you need to be to go to EFY?
14 years old
How old do I have to be to attend EFY? A youth must be at least 14 years old on or before December 31 of the year they attend, meaning that 13 year olds can attend as long as they will be 14 by the end of the year.
What is LDS EFY?
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Especially For Youth (often abbreviated as EFY) is a week-long youth-oriented seminar focused on fellowship and teaching the principles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church).
Who pays Fsy?
The ward that approved the youth to attend FSY will be charged for the ward fee (and participant fee, if the bishopric agreed to cover that cost). Bishops from the two wards may work together to determine if they should transfer funds from one unit to the other.
How frequent is Fsy?
Youth may attend FSY conferences scheduled for their stake beginning in the year they turn 14 until the year they turn 18. Each stake will be invited every other year.
When did Fsy?
Daytime is from sunrise (this varies, but we can say approximately 6am) to sunset (we can say approximately 6pm). Night-time is from sunset to sunrise. Every day starts precisely at midnight.
Is EFY still a thing?
Traditional EFY sessions will be discontinued so BYU can support the Church in facilitating FSY, according to efy.byu.edu. EFY Special Edition and EFY Express sessions will continue.
