ABOUT OUR COMMUNITY. UC San Diego Sorority & Fraternity Life (SFL) is home to 24 fraternities, 21 sororities, and 16 cultural-based Greek Letter organizations. Over 2,500 Triton fraternity men and sorority women take part in this 200-year-old international tradition.
Are there sorority houses at UCSD?
Unlike most traditional college campuses, Greeks at UCSD do not have housing on or near campus. There have been proposals for creating a fraternity row, but no such developments have been made.

Are there parties at UC San Diego?
UCSD does have parties and (if you’ve ever been to Sun God) it’s arguable that we can party with the best. UCSD is known for their engineering and medical programs which leads people to assume that all the students are nerdy, geeky, and lack a social life.
